Every PDS and TMD, in one place.
The Product Disclosure Statement tells you what is covered, what is excluded, and every limit and excess that applies. The Target Market Determination describes who a product was designed for. Read both before you decide.
Why there are two documents
Product Disclosure Statement
The full policy wording. It is the document that decides a claim. If something is not in it, it is not covered, and if there is a limit on something, this is where the limit is written. It is long because it is complete.
Target Market Determination
A shorter document that says who the product was designed for, and just as usefully, who it was not. Required under the design and distribution obligations since 2021. If you do not recognise yourself in it, the product is probably wrong for you.

Document codes: PDS and TMD references follow the format SI-PRODUCT-TYPE-MMYY. Quote the code when you ring us and we can pull the exact version that applied to your policy on the day of a loss. On a demonstration site these links do not resolve to files.

Southerly Insurance Australia Pty Ltd is a fictional company invented for this demonstration. No ABN, ACN or AFSL number is shown anywhere on this site, because a made-up number in ASIC's real format could belong to a genuine licensee.
This advice is general only and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on it, consider whether it is appropriate for you.
A licensed insurer would be bound by the General Insurance Code of Practice, which is monitored and enforced by the Code Governance Committee. The Code is real; this insurer is not.
External disputes go to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority on 1800 931 678, at afca.org.au, or GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001.
All figures shown are in Australian dollars and are illustrative only. On a real policy the premium would include GST, state stamp duty, and where they apply the NSW Emergency Services Levy or the Tasmanian Fire Service Contribution.
This is a demonstration website built to show a design. Southerly Insurance is not a real insurer. No policy can be bought here, no quote is a real quote, no premium or excess shown is a real price, and the people, claims and offices described are invented.
Read the document, then get the price.
It is the right order, and it takes about fifteen minutes. If something in a PDS does not make sense, ring us and ask. That is a reasonable use of our phone line.
Consider the PDS and TMD before deciding. Premiums include GST and stamp duty.
